I’ve spent enough time in the dark to understand what it feels like to be hopeless and lost. For years, I felt broken, and there were times when I wished to end it all. But through true self-commitment, loving-kindness, and mindfulness, I gradually overcame my depression. I moved from a place of complete disconnection to one where I am fully aligned with my true essence.
Along the way, I found my purpose and discovered that happiness is a choice. Most importantly, I learned how to choose love over fear—again, and again, and again.
